Who has recently been approved for visas in HCMC or Hanoi after May 1?

Instead of asking how long been waiting, let's try a different way

Who actually got approved in either HCMC or Hanoi recently?

To avoid unnecessary clutter, only comment if you went into pending approval (final stage) post 1 May, as document checks/requests reset timers

Common sense say they should be processing in date order, so those still waiting might be able to estimate how much longer they have by seeing results of those approved

Also let's those planning on applying to estimate how long its really going to take these days

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation focuses on gathering information from individuals who received visa approvals in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) or Hanoi after May 1. Users are asked to share their visa approval statuses specifically if they have entered the pending approval stage after this date to help others estimate current processing times. Several comments provide insights into individual experiences, with mixed reports of approval timelines, some expressing frustration about delays.

pending approval since may 12 - it's passed 10 business days in HCMC is this normal? considering giving up :(

Ken King No its not normal, but lot in same boat as you. Seems with all the local/regional holidays this time of year back office staff probably pissed off on holiday, which seems to have created delays and backlogs in all the SEA embassys, unfortunately HCMC seems worst affected and slowest to work though backlog. Saw someone got from pending on same date as you approved yesterday, so you should hold on there

You are trying to find a logic that doesn’t excist.

There is nothing known about the order of processing, it might be in date order, but it might also in order of type or country or even random.

Think best not to go by applied date but rather when went into pending approval as document requests reset you/send you to back of queue

Great question, has anyone even been approved this week?

@Mike ***
Only seen one confirmation, Hanoi, application 12 May, approved yesterday. But then in comments see some waiting since did application on 1st

Why i said checking from pending stage is better, we have no idea if ones waiting longer had timers reset by doc requests

Main issue is probably when most get approved they don't post here again and just get out of the country and head back to Thailand and either leave group or ignore it
