TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully applied for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) through the Thai embassy in Sweden, initially submitting their application on July 9th and receiving approval within 7 days. They emphasized the importance of including a payslip and a personal explanation of their remote work role in their application. Comments provided additional tips about keeping proof of the DTV visa handy for travel and entry into Thailand.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
I had the money sitting there for 1 month only. I wrote the explanation by myself in a Word document. I put the latest payslip + explanation letter in the same PDF as my employment contract. And I uploaded it where they asked to insert the contract.
