i am in phuket. do you trust any visa companies here to use to apply?

Trust ??? .... do the maths ... a visa done by yourself is about 1,900 baht and half a tree of paper .... an agent charges on average 20,000 baht plus .... its your call but can someone please explain the 900% increase ?

Avoid a visa agent at any cost as it will create problems later (or even not getting a visa at all) unless you stay with the visa agent.

I can recommend one only and it a person Thai that handles visa applications. Woman very capable. She does have a company and does everything correctly which many of them do not.

KBV and TMT are two I know of (but not used). You may get better prices from Thai Visa Centre, not based in Phuket but do everything by registered post. Very reliable.
