Hello everyone,
Quick question about passports and stamps:
So I have a Non-O retirement visa stamp + 12 moth extension stamp on my passport. I am from Finland and visiting Finland at the moment. I bought the re-entry stamp so everything is ok. Except that my pass port will expire within 9 months.
While still in Finland now, I got a brand new passport.
I cannot remember, which passport I now have to use when leaving Finland and enetering Thailand. Can you, please, remind me, is it the old one or the new one I have to use?
I know, I need to go visit the immigration office after I come back and they will move my visa + extension stamps to my new passport. But do they also move the entry stamps, hence my question earlier..?
Thanks in advance ๐
TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling back to Thailand from Finland, you should use your new passport to leave and enter. However, it is important to carry your old passport as well, especially to present the visa and re-entry permit stamps. After arriving in Thailand, visit the immigration office with both passports to have your visa and extension stamps transferred to your new passport.
