Hello everyone,
Quick question about passports and stamps:
So I have a Non-O retirement visa stamp + 12 moth extension stamp on my passport. I am from Finland and visiting Finland at the moment. I bought the re-entry stamp so everything is ok. Except that my pass port will expire within 9 months.
While still in Finland now, I got a brand new passport.
I cannot remember, which passport I now have to use when leaving Finland and enetering Thailand. Can you, please, remind me, is it the old one or the new one I have to use?
I know, I need to go visit the immigration office after I come back and they will move my visa + extension stamps to my new passport. But do they also move the entry stamps, hence my question earlier..?
Thanks in advance ๐
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about which passport to use when departing Finland and re-entering Thailand, given they possess a Non-O retirement visa stamp and an extension in an expiring passport while having obtained a new passport. Responses confirmed that the user should utilize the new passport for travel but also carry the old passport to show the stamps and re-entry permit upon entering Thailand. After returning, it's necessary to visit the immigration office to transfer the stamps to the new passport.
