We're planning our DTV soft power application process (I'm finally figuring things out). I'm a bit fuzzy as I have been reading and consuming so much information. Can someone confirm if Taiwan and India (can't remember where though lol) are easier to apply and relatively fast.  Also, I'm specifically looking for embassies that accept 1 month bank statements. Please advise if you have pertinent information.

Taiwan is not as fast as when I got mine last year, same day approval with in person application. It now takes around 5 - 10 business days online, can be quicker if you get an early interview. Check the main DTV FB group for a lot of tips about applying there.

Should you apply in a third country, please bear in mind that some only accept applications from citizens and long term/permanent residents. Would recommend check their webpages or ask them in emails in advance.
