Perth was an honorary consulate.

All Thai Honorary consulates worldwide were closed down, disbanded and were stopped from issuing visas.

They won't be coming back

yes! They are still operating but they don’t do a lot of things! No walk ins either 😅

yes sorry! I’m applying for a tourist visa from Australia to Thailand. I’m in Perth but they don’t do visas here hence I was advise to do it thru Canberra

you can not use the Evisa site its not for Brunei people

I sent mine to Sydney and they sent my passport back without a visa. Hence Canberra called me and told me to send mine there instead 😅

all i did was do online application, got email confirming pre-approval with a approved number to quote then posted everything to the Sydney consulate took total of 10 days from Application anf mine was a harder visa to get than the TR

If your using your Brunei passport. You don't need a visa fir Thailand you get 30 days entry

really weird the 2 have different rules such as. For OX like I have Sydney is leave your money in Australia but Canberra is must have it in thai bank

Anywhere else other than Sydney is in a Thai bank. 3 million baht. That’s why there’s so few OXs around (other than ones that originate from Sydney).

Yes. Had many messages about Sydney offering OA applications the OX option for x amount of $. Maybe 600? Can’t recall.

You probably already know 🙂 Sydney is online application and Canberra is post everything hence why we recommend everyone use Sydney

Sorry just to clarify. Does Sydney use the evisa system or their own version of an online system? I have no idea. I wasn’t aware Australian embassy or consulates used the evisa system as yet.

no evisa it's just pre-approval online then on approval send everything and passport to them to have visa glued into passport

haha! Sorry I had to edit it.. I had to submit an application online thru to Canberra high comm. I currently have the form from Sydney but they requested to do it on the Canberra website. I tried to apply online but had trouble doing so. Hence was thinking if there was an application form that I can download that’s from Canberra’s website. Hope this helps with my question.
