Hello, I hope everyone is doing well and safe
I’m not sure if this question has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone has some insight or advice for vaccine options for tourist visa.
I’ve been in Thailand since last year on the tourist visa, and have since then been on the 60-day covid extension.
I’ve had a look at the ‘ExpatVac’ program however that does NOT include for tourist visas. I’ve seen various hospitals advertising pre-bookings for vaccines for Moderna for 1650 baht per dose however may have to wait till end of the year/ next year for this option.
Are there any suggestions you may have ?
(P.S I'm located in Bangkok, although I'm flexible to drive to other areas (ie. Pattaya))
Thanks in advance!
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on COVID-19 vaccine options available for tourists in Thailand on a tourist visa, as they have been on a 60-day extension. They mention the difficulties with the ExpatVac program and inquire about private hospital options like Moderna vaccines. Comments suggest caution about ads that promote vaccination based on age rather than visa status, and provide insight into available opportunities in Pattaya.
