I arrived in Bangkok five days ago, Tuesday I can go to Chiang Mai. I have been given the SARS Rapid Test Kit but the hotel did not know when I need to take the test, or how I was to take the test, saliva or nasal swab, or both, or if it was to be at the airport that I took the test. I thought I was supposed to do the test today. The hotel was telling me the 13th, then they said they didn’t know. Can somebody clarify? Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
After arriving in Thailand, travelers typically need to take a SARS Rapid Test as part of the entry requirements, but the exact timing and procedure can vary based on the program one is in (like Test and Go or Sandbox). It is generally suggested to take the test 6 or 7 days after arrival, but there may not be a second test required if a valid test was shown prior to entering the country. Checking with the airline for specific requirements or guidelines is also advisable.
