TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a Covid extension stamped as 'under consideration' until May 1 and is seeking confirmation on whether they need to return to the immigration office on that date. Comments confirm that they must go back on May 1 for further instructions, which will determine their status and coverage until July 31 under the amnesty provisions.

Go back as instructed on May 1

Then you are covered to July 31 under amnesty.

But before you go double check if immigration is open on May 1

I guess you do not have a stamp with Extension of Stay is permitted up to 1 May, but a stamp with the text Application is under consideration and applicant must contact this office again on 1 May 2020
