When should I apply for the DTV visa if I plan to move to Thailand in August?

Realize DTV is not the correct visa to move to Thailand, it can be tricked that way, but you have to live with some inconveniences as a result of the tricking, like leaving every 180 days, not be able to open a bank account because you are just a tourist.
And of course you are dependant from your soft power activity or your remote work.

Apply for the DTV no more than 3 months before you travel. They won't process it if you apply prior to 3 months
