TLDR : Answer Summary
The timeline for receiving an interview invitation after applying for a visa at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Laos, can vary. Some users reported receiving invitations 2 to 3 weeks after application, while others experienced longer waits, up to nearly a month. It's important to note that the embassy may be closed on holidays, which can affect the application process.

Don't leave Laos until you have a decision from the Thai Consulate.

You can do a search on this page. Someone just posted last week that they applied on the 18th and their interview is scheduled for August 6th so 2 to 3 weeks from applying to interviews. Also, tomorrow is a holiday.

I had to wait nearly a month for the interview at the embassy in Vienntiane, which went well and my visa was approved shortly afterwards. I ended up seeing a lot Laos while I waited.

You won't be paying tomorrow as it is a holiday so you'll need to go on Tuesday
