What visa should I apply for to study in Chiang Mai, the Standard form or Non-Immigration OA Form?

Hi all, I'm applying for an education visa in London. I have the paperwork from the school in Chiang Mai.

I'm a little confused as to which visa I need to fill in. I want to do it by post to save 2 trips to London. Is it the Standard form I used previously for a tourist visa? Or maybe the Non-Immigration "OA Form?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers Robert, I'll do that then

Better be safe than sorry. It could be asked depending on your history of staying inside Thailand.

As a side note, would I be required to enter with 20k baht on me? money isn't an issue but I'd just prefer to get the cash out when I arrive.

Just to let you know: With this Visa there are no 90 days reports. You are not allowed to stay longer than 90 days inside Thailand. What you do is you apply for an Extension of Stay at Immigration just before your Admitted to Stay runs out.

Than it is a S for Single.

It's a self defence school on CM. I only plan to enter once and do the 90 day reports in CM

You can write M but depending on what kind of school/university you will visit it could be an Single Entry

Ok, thanks. I'm guessing an 'S' will cover it then.

Got it, but at the it's got that tick box. Shall I enter 'S' for single or other?
Robert *******
Make sure you write S or M in the top right box next to Non Immigrant Visa.
Robert *******
This form is for Non Immigrant visa and under Purpose of currrent visit you write down your course at your school or Education at your school.
