Hi, I am Italian currently in Dominican Republic, web developer, I currently work as a freelancer, no fixed salary, if I find work I earn otherwise no, I would like to move to Thailand, maybe Samui, for a few months, maybe a few years, maybe a lifetime if it is worth it. What options do I have to enter and then stay without running into problems? Which visas can I use? And where do I have to get them?

TLDR : Answer Summary
As an Italian freelancer currently in the Dominican Republic, you have a couple of visa options for moving to Thailand. One option is the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV), which allows you to stay for five years with multiple entries, provided you work online for a non-Thai company. Alternatively, you could seek employment with a Thai company that can sponsor you for a NON-B visa (business visa). Ensure to consider these options based on your working situation and long-term plans in Thailand.

If you can find work online then you can get a DTV which gives you a 5 year multi entry visa, Must work online only for a non- Thai company. Other option find a Thai company to give you a job and sponsor your non B visa.
