What visa options are available for moving to Thailand permanently after a visit during Songkran?
Hello, I really want to relocate permanently to Thailand. However I am going to visit first to see how I like it. I plan to go next year around songkran, I know they just changed it from 60 days to 30. I want you ask what visas I could apply for or any info that would be helpful for this trip.
Summary so far
The inquirer plans to visit Thailand during the Songkran festival next year before deciding to relocate permanently. They seek information about available visa options, and whether the recent change from 60 to 30 days visa duration affects their plans. Commenters mention the importance of knowing the visitor's country of origin and age for visa eligibility, suggest referring to official resources for detailed information, and caution against visiting during Songkran due to chaotic celebrations.

ProficientCelery3854 If you mean visa exempt that has now reverted to 30 days for 60 types of passport

It all depends on your country of origin as to whether you qualify for visa exempt for 30 days. More information would help someone to answer your question.

I mean you failed to mention your age or what passport you hold
If you can figure that out just go to an embassy page that you fall under the jurisdiction of and that will be a good start
