Morning all i know i am probably going to drive you nuts with my questions but i just want to be prepared ok so it looks like i can only stay 6 months at a time on a metv so what if i then went to Cambodia for 3 months would i then be able to get another 6 month metv for Thailand and where would i be able to get it..Look forward to your answers.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The Multi Entry Tourist Visa (METV) allows for stays of 6 months at a time in Thailand. After your 6-month stay, traveling to Cambodia for 3 months would enable you to apply for another METV; however, it must be obtained from a Thai consulate in your home country, as none in Southeast Asia offer this service without local residency. Also, you can time your visits to extend your stay in Thailand to a total of 9 months by using the visa's entry allowances correctly. Note that you are restricted to one METV within a 12-month period.
