Hi guys ,

I'm just looking into the application form online for retirement visa for over 50s , is it the" none immergrant " visa as iv seen people commenting on here .

The others are various tourist visas ect along with an " Ltr visa "

Could somebody please confirm the exact visa I require and make sure I'm on the correct site as its been very temperamental .

All help + advise for an old boy looking to re locate and recommend banks with retirees in thailand ( hua hin ) .

Many thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the application process for a retirement visa for individuals over 50 and whether it corresponds to the 'Non-Immigrant' visa. Community members confirm that the Non-Immigrant (Non-O) visa is appropriate for retirees, explaining that applicants should select this option and indicate their age during the application. Discussions include advice on transferring funds to Thailand and other visa-related concerns.

Get a non immigrant (Non-O) visa. Avoid the OA visa.

Pamela Motion it’s an insurance nightmare for anyone with preexisting conditions, overweight or advanced age.

It’s also a criminal history and ridiculous physical.

Brook Powers That is a personal choice. For some the Non-OA is the best fit.

I watched to YouTube Video that was previously posted and it said the best way to send the 800,000 baht to your bank in Thailand to use a bank wire. Can I also use Electronic Bank Transfer (EFT)?

Arron Doherty It will at some point in the application ask you for the reason for the Non Imm O visa, that's when you can choose 50 and over. The Non Imm O visa is issued for many different reasons
