Hello. I'm applying for Non-immigrant visa online but I'm facing some issues. For "Visa Type", if I pick "Non-immigrant Visa", then there is no option "retirement" in "visit purpose". But if I pick "LTR Visa" for "Visa type", then I can see "retirement" option in "visit purpose", but later I'm requested to provide BOI letter that should be irrelevant for Non immigrant visa. In a nutshell, I'm lost. Any tips guys ? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about selecting the correct visa type while applying for a Non-immigrant visa online, especially regarding retirement options. Comments from the community suggest selecting the 'Non-immigrant Visa' option and then choosing 'Those who wish to stay in Thailand for no longer than 90 days' as this aligns with the requirements for a Non-O based on retirement.

you need to pick "Those who wish to stay in Thailand for no longer than 90 days". THIS is the correct pick to the "single entry 90-days Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa"

Select the Non-immigrant visa option and then select the option "Those who wish to stay in Thailand for no longer than 90 days" option for the Non-O based on retirement

@Barb *****
the Non-O visa is a 90 day visa which can be extended inside Thailand for 12 months at a time. I agree it's not particularly intuitive

AtrustworthyJaguar none O will give you 90 days entry.

Upon arrival you need to register at your local immigration then open a bank account and deposit your funds.

The funds must show in your Thai bank account for 60 days/2 whole months.

Then you can extend for a further 1 year.

So your first visa will actually last 15 month's providing you've met the requirements.
