What should I know about booking flights with VIETJET and visa options for Thailand?
If you book flights through the VIETJET app be aware that domestic fares are dealt with in Vietnam ONLY however international to Thailand are a different company and any inquiry must be directed to Thailand . Though it appears it is one company they will not issue credits to each other or share. The call centre number shown in the web site is for Vietnam ONLY . Thai vietjet is +6620891909 . I just wasted an international flight ! Fly AIRASIA as a much better and professional low cost airline .

You can still go , 30 day visa exemption , then get a 30 day extension at immigration . Or get a 60 day tourist visa before you come .

I have had airlines want to see proof of a flight out of Thailand before the visa exemption expires if still at 60 days, all good. BUT if it is reduced to 30, you may have issues flying there. Three times Flying out of USA, the airline wanted proof. Once I had tickets out so just showed proof, and twice I did not flying for work to the Middle East. They made an issue until I pointed out my first flight was to Amsterdam (so the airlines responsibility ended there) , stay overnight and then onward.
