Does anyone have recent experience entering by flight into thailand with a tourist visa but with a passport filled with pages of extension stamps back from the covid stamp days? Have there been any issues entering through customs/ immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Based on recent experiences shared by community members, entering Thailand on a tourist visa despite having a passport filled with COVID-related extension stamps is manageable. Travelers reported no issues upon re-entry, particularly when they possessed proof of onward travel, which, while not always requested, is advisable to have on hand just in case. Individual experiences can vary depending on the immigration officer, so it’s best to be prepared with the necessary documents.

Since 2019 I've got 4 tourist visas ( 60 days ) 11 visa exemptions , 6 covid extension due to Australia always shutting during covid . The last 12 months I've been coming visa exemption every 10 weeks and staying for 4 weeks . Nothing been said yet 🤞🤞

I just re-entered Thailand last week after almost 2 months in the USA. I had a tourist evisa from the embassy in dc this time and had no problems entering Thailand.

My passport is full of Covid-time extension stamps and various visa on entry/extension stamps.

I had proof of onward travel within 60 days but wasn’t asked to show it.

This was my personal experience re-entering Thailand via BKK in July 2024 🙂

As in you are entering the country on a REAL tourist visa <-that you bought from a thai consulate in another country before you winged your way here?

After covid you stopped comin' here? What is your recent entry/stay history to thailand (post covid)

100% your previous entry/stay history matters when you come back into thailand. If they believe yours to be extensive they could ask you for proof of onward travel within the number of days you'll get stamped in for (60 days)

It's gonna come down to the officer you're standing in front of when you go to stamp in.

I'd say be ready with proof of onward travel in 60 days just in case, but no one on here can tell you if you will be flagged/questioned etc it's almost luck of the draw
