Do we have any recent estimations on how common it is to be questioned at CNX airport on first entry with DTV Soft Power Muay Thai? What kind of questions? Do we know of anyone with a clean visa history in Thailand who got denied entry purely because of how they answered the immigration questions on first entry?

TLDR : Answer Summary
At Chiang Mai (CNX) airport, questioning at first entry with a DTV Soft Power Muay Thai visa appears to be quite common, though no reliable reports indicate that individuals have been denied entry solely based on their responses to immigration questions. Most participants in the conversation confirm that as long as you comply with visa regulations, answer truthfully, and have your supporting documents ready, you should not face issues. Questions may include inquiries about your passport nationality and the approval location of your DTV visa. Overall, staying honest and prepared seems to be the key to a smooth entry process.

If you comply to all visa rules, I do not see anything you can answer wrong to get denied.

What is your passport nation?

Where did you get the DTV visa approved?

Take it easy bud, this visa is made for long stays and multiple entries. Applicants are also thoroughly vetted. I would be sweating much more entering visa exempt. It will be fine... just answer their questions if they ask something, I would bring all supporting documents just in case.

Just be honest and truthful, no matter where you pass the border to Thailand, then you wouldn’t have any problems.

Very common. Consider it certain. But if you are ready with your paperwork and have real answers and are confident then you wont have issues. They are basically just going through a tick and flick process. I went through it and was fine.

There is no need to be paranoid about CNX. A couple of people have been asked questions. A random sample. Nobody has been denied.
