Hey, can you guys share your experience of entering on dtv? Just saw in a dtv group there have been instances of unwanted srutinization while entering on the dtv? Someone said they were asked to show all the docs, they used while applying. This would be very inconvenient given some of us applied physically and don't have all the docs handy.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Community members shared their experiences regarding entry into Thailand on a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). Some expressed concerns about potential scrutiny at entry points, particularly regarding the need to present documentation used during the visa application. However, others reported having no issues at all during their entries. A few commenters emphasized the importance of carrying updated documentation, especially proof of financial stability, while noting that not many have been asked for documents upon re-entry. The overall sentiment seems cautiously optimistic, with a reminder to stay prepared in case of future inquiries.

If you have visa you no need showing docs again.

They will crack down on it soon in my opinion

If they want to see documentation they will likely be wanting updated documentation not the original documentation. If anything I'd imagine the most important would be the 500k baht or equivalent in your bank. Not many have been asked so far

I reentered this week Tues , 4th time zero questions asked. Have been asked once what job do you do that's it.

I hesitated before I wrote my comment. You should not forget, citizens of India often are victims of racial discrimination by the Thais. You sure know the slur used which is "khon khaek". Sorry to say so, as a DTV holder, for the sake of security and safety, you should make sure you hold all those proofs you used for the application, on you when you enter

yes and if you plan to extend in country you’ll need all of them plus a good chance they want to see the 500k

I've seen a single post mentioning such things. That's across thousands of entries at this point as the visa is almost a year old now. That's compared to everyone else reporting that they've had absolutely zero issues. Don't worry about it. It's not like there's anything you can do about it anyways, so why worry when that's the case?
