Hello fellas,

The consulate in Serbia gave me visa for 2 months, but i took plane ticket till middle of January, so i'm gonna stay there about 85 days. In embasy, they told me that after 2 months i can extend my visa one more month. So, my question is:

1. Should i go in imigration center as soon as i arrive in Bangkok?

2. Also, where is exactly Imigration center in Bkk? i need adress.

Thanks.

Sincerely, Alex.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received a 2-month visa from the Serbian consulate and plans to stay in Thailand for about 85 days. They ask whether they should visit the immigration center as soon as they arrive and where this center is located. Community responses suggest that it's advisable to wait about 2 weeks before extending the visa and provide the address for the Immigration office in Bangkok, which is at The Government Complex, Building B, Chaengwattana Road Soi 7, Laksi.

It totally depends on what immigration office you use. In Bangkok & Chiang Mai you can apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp.

You can get the extension any time. If you want you can do it right after you enter the country which gives you 30 days on top of your 60 days.

Extend your SETV for 30 days, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Immigration office - TM7, lots of photocopies from your passport and a 4x6 Photo. 1900 baht.

I note you're not from from England and teaching English, so 1,900 baht won't be the end of the world for you.
