What should I do if I can't access the Thai visa website to submit my application due to outages?

Hello,

Since this morning (~10 am to now 5:30pm) the official website "thaievisa" seems to be very buggy and don't work. It's very slows and it crashes a lot with this message "The team is fixing and updating the system.". So it's almost impossible to submit a demand.

I've got my demand rejected the first time due to a mistake i've made, but now i am in a big hurry because my flight is coming nearer and i want to do a new application asap because the Paris Thai Embassy can take up to 4 weeks before checking the documents.

Am I the only one that can't access the website correctly?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing significant issues with the Thai eVisa website, which has been slow and crashing, preventing them from submitting a new visa application before their upcoming flight. Various comments suggest alternative solutions, including using a VPN to bypass access issues and advice about the typical processing times at the Paris Thai Embassy. Additionally, there are discussions about the necessity of flight bookings in relation to visa applications.

i've tried in private navigation but it did not worked, the only solution is either use a VPN but as explained by someone in the comment it's not really a good idea or wait until off-peak hours

The flight is the 31st december. Do you think it will be fine? I am just affraid that they request other documents and that it also takes weeks, maybe you have an experience with it?

It is common known that Thai Governmental websites often are unstable during weekends, due to maintenence or extra high loads.

Why book your flight if you haven't sorted your visa. It's you fault and the embassy has no control over this issue
Henrik *****
Pernaps booked in accordance with the first ( rejected ) application.

yes exactly i had to book it to validate my first demand

Participant(e) anonyme there is no need to book a flight to apply for DTV visa. They ask for intended date of travel and flight number, not for your booking.

It is now after 5pm, so no rush in submitting until Monday morning.

it’s due to load on server of high traffic and backend downtime due to maintenance or may be buggy server nods I think it’s a wise decision he should wait avoid using VPNs as his IP can be traceable while submitting the application

i've found the solution, if you are located in France just use an American VPN and the problem will be gone 👌

Anonieme deelnemer I doubt if using VPN is a wise decision, they might think you try to fool them with your location.
