Do exactly what the immigration officer says...

Have you already had a 30 day extension from the visa or visa exempt entry you entered Thailand with?

Which Thai immigration office ?

BTW...

The TM 7 is the form you submit for the covid extension and other extensions too.

I understand. But until yesterday evening I expected they 100% hand out the affidavit. That's why I was asking now.

Shouldn't be a problem to ask? Sorry if so.

I'm just very confused

My opinion: Let it be. Fill out the TM7. Submit it. The immigration officer may ask for proof. They may hand an affidavit for you to complete. Give the affidavit that you completed to the immigration officer with the e-mail from the German Embassy.

@San ****
they most likely will give you 60 days...but no guarantee.

And they may stamp UNDER CONSIDERATION and have you return in a few weeks for the full 60 day stamp.

Good Luck

What I do is to write "60 days" on the length of stay, and for the reason I write "Extension of stay based on COVID-19"

I don't write full sentences.
