What should I do after missing my 90-day report at Bangkok immigration and how will it affect my future entries or driving license application?

Hi, one issue which I think no one faced yet. I went to bkk immigration for the 90 day report, I went on 91 or 92 day, as I heard we can go till 1 week after. Also, at this time I was going home on 96th or 97th day, and had my flight booked, so was staying in bkk in hotels for 1 day at a time as left my condo, I got tm 30 from the hotel I was staying at, and they give me the tm30 for 1 day, the immigration supervisor said they cannot do that( i understood they wanted atleast 8-9 days stay more), and asked me no problem you go back since your going home within 7 days after 90 days. Wasted my whole day, but i couldn't do anything after that and came back home. So question is what should I do now, and when I re enter or apply for driving next time can there be a problem, if yes what's the solution

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user missed the 90-day reporting deadline while in Bangkok and is concerned about potential consequences for future entries and driving applications. Some comments suggest that while they may not have problems re-entering Thailand, they could face a fine for not completing the report. Questions were raised about why the user didn't report at their home immigration office or online.

@ANONYMOUS MEMBER So where's "home" as that was the TM30 listed in her computer and not Bangkok. 3 questions.....

Why didn't you do the 90 day report at your Home IO? Why didn't you do your 90 day report on your PC or phone?

I am on dtv, so was living in condo for the first 90 days, then decided to head back my country and moved to bkk for last 6-7 days, at this time I decided to do the 90 day report around
*****
rd day. Then, when I went to immigration, I had a tm30 from my hotel in bkk which was for 1 day, then they said "CANNOT TALK TO SUPERVISOR", so I was surprised by this requirement that I must have stay of atleast 7-8 days more, because at that time I was going back to my country in a few days. Then the supervisor said to my thai friend since you are going back within 97 days, its fine you can go. So, that's why I was confused because of so many contradictory things

Anonymous participant ok I'm confused too. On returning from your home country the 90-day "clock" restarts when you are stamped back into Thailand. Where is your Condo located? You did a TM30 last time you entered thailand, correct? If this is a different place than Bangkok THIS TM30 is the one to use and you go to the IO in the provinces your condo is located. So I still don't understand why you didn't file the 90-day report online which is the simplest, unless this is your 1st 90-day report.

haha let's get to the end of it. So, I reached bangkok on 23rd may, stayed in pattaya (condo 1 month rental at a time) till 19th of august, then booked my flight back to my country for 26th august. Around 22 I went to bkk immigration with tm30 from my hotel which they gave for 21-22, then they said CANNOT, I thought the checkout date is today, so while sitting there I asked the hotel to give me todays tm30 ie 22-23 which mentioned checkout on 23 is the next day. I waited all this while went again, and to my surprise the lasy said "CANNOT TALK TO SUPERVISOR",then my thai friend came in she talked and scolded the supervisor a bit, and what I understood is that I need to have atleast 8 days stay more, then I said to him in leaving on 26th, then he said ok since its 1 week after 90 days you can go. Tired and frustrated I gave up and drank till my last day and came back. For context this was my first time doing this report and staying over this long. So i didn't know if I can do this online, as people here said you need to do offline.
Phil ******
Anonymous participant yes I can understand this. Am I correct as you filed a TM30 in Pattaya when you first flew into Thailand. Am I correct or wrong? Is this your 1st 90 day report correct or wrong? If 2nd or subsequent 90-day report filings you indeed can report online. Otherwise go see an agent like Mots Services to do it keeping in mind when you fly back in there will be only a āļŋ2,000 fine.

@Ph**
DTV it's always the first as it's a 180 day stamp. Can't be done online.

yes, the condo staff did tm30 every month, yes first 90 day report. Only surprise is when I went there why he didn't do my report, and also said that no fine since i stayed a total of 96 days, which I'm not sure if is right.
Phil ******
Anonymous participant yes correct as only 6-days. Try doing it online now or go down and do it at Jontiem IO tomorrow.

sir I already left thai on 26, Iwill go back in a few months and would try to do everything before time to avoid this. But certainly a grey area with regards to what happened. Thanks for your help in this appreciate 🙏

Anonymous participant ok thats great. Unlikely you will get fined as the 90-day clock stops when you left. Great news. Starts again when you get stamped in. Next time try online or last resort Jontiem IO

You won't have a problem entering but you could be fined for not doing a 90 day report the next time you visit an immigration office (if they notice)
