I have just been asked to supply proof of paid invoices from clients as a contract freelancer (which were within the 6 month bank statement I provided) Having now submitted them I am wondering what the turn around time is for the visa to be accepted? I submitted initial application Tuesday 11am and receive this request at 4pm today. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user submitted a freelance visa application and was later asked to provide proof of paid invoices from clients. They inquired about the turnaround time for their visa approval after submitting the requested documents. Community comments suggested that processing times may restart upon receiving additional documents, and providing a tax report alongside invoices could strengthen their application.
If you give tax report for 3 last year I think they don't ask. But provide invoices and bank report of payment should be good.

Normally at receipt of extra information the processing time counter resets, meaning from now on you again have the initial processing time as specified by the embassy.
that’s a great outcome mate! Can I ask what number you reached immigration on in Canberra? If it’s not passed by Friday this week I will have to reschedule flights and accomodation I have booked so if I could call them and follow up that would be ideal!
did you have to provide any documents besides the invoices themselves and your bank statement showing the payments?
