TLDR : Answer Summary
After entering Thailand on a NON-O visa as a trailing spouse, you can apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less remaining on your current stay. The extension will align with the duration of your spouse's visa extension, rather than being for a full year.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.

In Bangkok you can apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stay.

Please note that your extension will not be for a full year, it will be set to match the end of your spouse's extension.
