Just got a re-entry permit at Phuket Airport and here was my experience (UK passport, "retirement visa") : 1. Desk is located at the extreme left end of immigration, desk A1. 2. Efficient and friendly. 3. Only documents wanted were TM8 and photo but probably a good idea to take copies of passport picture page and "visa" in case a different officer asks for them. 4. They only give single permits, multiples must be obtained from main office.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their experience obtaining a re-entry permit at Phuket Airport while holding a UK passport with a retirement visa. They noted the efficient service at Desk A1, which is located at the far left end of immigration. Required documents were a TM8 form and a photo; it was suggested to also carry copies of the passport and visa just in case of additional requests. The user mentioned that only single re-entry permits are issued at the airport, and multiple permits must be acquired from the main office.
