Hi everyone,

Have anyone done the covid extension at Rayong immigration office lately? How did it go?

And if I need to do it in Bangkok, is it at Laksi IT center/mall ? What are your experiences there?🙏

Thank you everyone!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about the COVID extension process at the Rayong immigration office and seeks experiences from others. They also ask about the process in Bangkok, questioning whether it takes place at Laksi IT center. One commenter specifies that the location in Bangkok depends on the type of visa held.

Can’t answer part 1. Part 2 depends on how you entered Thailand. If visa exempt then it’s Laksi Plaza. If a tourist visa then it’s the main government complex at Chaengwattana

Thank you Stuart! I had you in my mind when I wrote this, always so helpful!

We went in with visa exemption so I guess its Laksi Plaza for us🙏

I hope someone who has been doing covid extension lately there can give me some informations 🙏

Generally you apply for the covid extension in the place where your TM30 is filed. If that’s Rayong then you need to do it there. To do it in Bangkok you’d need a TM30 filed there. A hotel will do it for you.

Yes we are going to visit my father in Rayong for a week hence why I thought it might be calmer there and easier but then I remembered that we will probably get the consideration stamp and need to go back to the same office.

So at the end it might be better here in Bangkok…🙏
