Are there any DTV holders here who came from the Philippines?
The Philippines require an Exit Clearance for Overseas Employment (OEC). We should technically not be covered by this because a work permit is required to get this document. I've read though that Immigration Officers may require one to get an OEC and not allow someone to take their trip in its absence. This is wrong yes but I can imagine being helpless if that does happen.
Anybody here who can share the experience exiting the Philippines as a DTV holder?

TLDR : Answer Summary
DTV holders from the Philippines are discussing their experiences with the Philippine Immigration Officers (IO) during exit processes. While it's typically required to have an Exit Clearance for Overseas Employment (OEC) to leave, some users report that they were not asked for an OEC when traveling under a DTV visa, particularly for remote work. However, experiences may vary depending on the discretion of individual immigration officers.
Hi, I'm a Filipino DTV holder, and I have been in Thailand since September.
I am only basing this from my experience but the PH IO didn't ask me for an OEC. The only question they asked me was why I'm staying in Thailand until December, and all I said was that I work remotely - and I plan to come back home for the Holidays. No other document checks (although I was prepared).
Incase you're asked by the IO for an OEC, I would recommend first that you explain that you are not an OFW, and that you hold a DTV (I can only assume it's for Workcation at this point) but then again, it differs from one IO to another.
