I am (hopefully) traveling from the USA to Phuket, arriving on January 11th. I have my #evisa approved and ready (hotel booked, tests paid for) - do I need a Thaipass as well? It seems like it is the same documentation.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user confirmed their eVisa has been approved and is traveling to Phuket. They inquired if a Thaipass is also necessary. Comments from the community emphasized that a Thaipass is mandatory for entry, with advice on health insurance and flight changes also discussed.
Thanks for your advice! I got the Thaipass, but then I had to change my flight. I heard that the Thaipass was still valid for up to 72 hours after the date on the pass. Is this true?
, you are doing the Phuket Sandbox I assume? You definitely need to try and contact them if you are traveling in 2 days. I think you left it way too late.
