Happy New Year! Has anyone recently applied for a 1 year Mltp Entry Non Imm. B visa at Thai consulate in Frankfurt?! I received this visa there without any problems for years, but been told that there is a new consul and this may not be as easy anymore! I have already contacted the consulate several times but they don’t seem to answer to any emails or FB messages anymore! Basically just wanted to check if someone has any recent experience in Frankfurt....thank you very much...

There are three different kind of Non Immigrant B visa

1. The Non Immigrant B visa for teachers

2. The Non Immigrant B visa for employment INSIDE Thailand

Both options need a work permit.

3. The Non Immigrant B visa for business purpose as in visiting Thai companies for audits, seminars, contracts etc.

No work permit needed visa only gets issued with document of the inviting company in Thailand and the employer in home country.

it is strictly for "business purpose" and nothing else. It is NOT for tourist purpose or a way to gain longstay

I totally understand what this visa is for. As mentioned in my post, I have been on the same Visa kind for years as I am the owner of a company and holder of a work permit in Thailand!! The reason for my question was, as I’ve been told that there is a new consul and that this may not be issued anymore. In fact, a lot of the embassies and consulates in Europe do not issue this Visa anymore.
