TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the best methods for transferring large sums of money from the EU to Thailand, focusing on options suitable for meeting pension or investor visa requirements. Suggestions include using Wise for its low fees, international bank transfers via SWIFT for safety and trackability, and considerations for cashiers checks. Clarification on what constitutes a 'large amount' is also raised.

the best way is by SWIFT transfer to your Thai bank account. This will give you the needed FET, foreign exchange transaction, receipt needed if you change your mind in the future and want to transfer the lump sum out of Thailand, especially with the investor visa through the BOI.
