TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around finding suitable health insurance for foreigners in Thailand, focusing on experiences and recommendations. Members mention the importance of choosing the right insurance policy based on age and health conditions, with several companies like Genki and WRLife being suggested. There are concerns about inadequate coverage and costs related to hospital bills, with advice to seek professional guidance for best options.
Depending on what u need/age etc take a look at Genki. Wont work for everyone but does for me! β¬60 odd a month and can cancel at anytime and covers pretty much the same as the big boys. I have a referral code should you need

Everything is based on age and preexisting problems. A majority of retirees are self insured due to this. Many insurance companies won't insure if you have many medical issues.
no problem just be wary of ones who sell just their own policy etc. you want independence so you get the best for your circumstances
