Has anyone applied for a partner visa for the DVT? I am in Vietnam, my husband just submitted his application to Ho chi Minh and we are waiting for approval. I'm still confused as to whether or not i need to meet the 500,000 thb requirement individually, his covers me, or he needs 1 million thb in an account ti cover us both? Anyone go through this yet?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question concerns the bank account requirement for a partner visa application in Thailand, specifically regarding whether the applicant must independently meet the 500,000 THB requirement or if the spouse's account can cover both parties. Comments suggest that there is a need for either 500,000 THB in the applicant's account or 1 million THB in the spouse's account, with some advice on using joint accounts as evidence.

You need your own 500k in your own bank account or he needs 1M and maybe a sponsor letter to show that he will pay for the both of you.

Question seems easy enough to read, no less than 500.000 Thb

There is NO line that you may share with family and friends
