What are the financial requirements for applying for a DTV visa as a dependent family member in Thailand?

Hi everyone,

I have a question about applying for a DTV as a dependent family member.

My wife already has a valid Thailand DTV visa. I will be applying as her spouse, and our two children will also apply as dependents.

The issue is the financial requirement. I understand that the DTV requires proof of at least 500,000 THB, but I cannot keep this amount untouched in my account for 3 months.

I have a personal business (sole proprietorship) in my name, and my business bank account currently has around 700,000–800,000 THB. However, the account is actively used for business transactions, so the balance naturally goes up and down.

Has anyone successfully applied for a DTV as a spouse/dependent of an existing DTV holder in a similar situation?

Specifically:

* Was a 3-month bank balance history required?

* Was an actively used business/sole-proprietorship bank account accepted as financial proof?

* For the spouse + two children, did you have to show 500,000 THB per person, or was the family's financial evidence considered together?
