Good evening! Anyone has a template or sample letter for "memorandum of statement for clarify of wife*" as one of the supporting documents for the purpose of applying a marriage visa in Thailand? ๐Ÿ™‚

*This is what's stated in the list of documents needed that my local immigration office gave me.

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post requests a template for a memorandum of statement needed to support a marriage visa application in Thailand. Users suggest a simple letter format from the spouse requesting immigration authorization for visa approval to maintain family life, noting that it can be handwritten and should include signatures and dates.

Keep it a simple request from your wife to immigration to authorise a visa for you to remain in Thailand in order to sustain a family life and to appropriately care for your family. Make two copies and you'll probably have to supply the original. Hand written should be OK. Signed and dated.

It's definitely lost in translation from Thai.

My wife says in the Thai description, the immigration office needs a letter (or statement) to say why she wants me to stay in Thailand but she isn't sure what exactly needs to be written. ๐Ÿ˜…

Not sure if other immigration offices has the same requirement and if they do then hopefully someone can help. ๐Ÿคž

I know Kanchanburi doesn't have that requirement, and I also know that Bangkok doesn't have it either :(
