Friend just left through BKK this morning. Technical overstay by a few hours.

No fine, just script stating: "leniency less than 84(?)h".

Interesting background, we believe the PP was stamped incorrectly as they should have had a 30d exemption (and this is what they booked the return ticket as). They went to CW along with airline ticket, but was advised, don't worry (no new stamps). 

BTW this is for information only, of you want to start a debate, go elsewhere. We all know that the IO you face on the day has final and ultimate say.
