When you go to a language school you can get an Ed visa. The same is true for learning self defense (in Chiang Mai only). I'm looking for similar options in Bangkok. I heard there are schools that teach Muay Thai and offer a visa - anyone went down this route yet? Are there any recommended schools? I'd assume having an unprofessional school handle your visa will be a major PITA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about obtaining an Ed visa in Bangkok through Muay Thai training, similar to options available in other provinces. The user is specifically looking for schools that offer visa assistance, with a concern over the professionalism of such institutions. Comments suggest that only two schools provide this service in Bangkok: Chakrit Muay Thai and Master Woody.
