What documents do Canadians employed remotely need to apply for a DTV in Thailand?

Asking this question specifically to Canadians that are not freelancers but are employed by a company in Canada that allows you to work remotely and that have applied for DTV via HCMC. What documents did you provide and or were you asked for additional documents.

Let me be very clear; I am looking to see actual answers that are helpful. I am not asking for speculation. I am requesting information based on actual experience from Canadians and Canadians only.

Thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Canadians employed remotely by a Canadian company applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand should provide specific documentation. Key documents include payslips or a bank statement showing direct deposits as proof of income. Additionally, a letter from the employer confirming remote work permission and stipulating that the employee won’t engage with Thai clients is recommended. It's advised to apply through the Thai embassy in Canada for a streamlined process.

If you don't have payslips then you can show deposits in your bank account for a couple months.. But make sure to black out the other transactions for privacy .. U can also get a letter from your HR department that states how much you make each month or yearly.. You can also have hr reference a recent change in payroll programs and no current payslips but to reference your deposits .. Apply to the Thai embassy within Canada it's usually easier and they will tell u if u need something more to strengthen your application

Other than payslips you should get a letter from the company saying you have permission to work remotely from Thailand and that you won't work with any Thai entities or any clients inside Thailand
