TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of obtaining a DTV (Digital Travel Visa) for remote workers from the USA involves applying at the Thai Embassy in Washington DC. The applicant, who has worked remotely for over 9 years, submitted necessary documents including a passport, employer letter, and pay slips. After submitting additional requested documents, the visa was approved within approximately two weeks. Comments from the community suggest alternative visa options and emphasize the importance of keeping the visa printed for travel purposes.

I don't think it matters whether one is a natural born or naturalized citizen of a country. It end result is the same.

It's possible his company isn't publicly listed. It's the same issue I ran into. The company I work for brings in billions a year but its private and there's no way they would give me a financial report lol.

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
