Chiang Mai IO today, successfully extended 60 days due to Covid.
Arrived at 08:50, I got out exactly 1 hour thereafter. Stamped until 29.01.2021
Everything very smooth and easy.
There are 2 very helpful and efficient volunteers at the entrance who help anyone sorting out their papers.
This is what they ask:
* TM7 form
* Unable-to-travel form (don't remember the name..)
* Copy TM6
* Copy TM30
* Passport copy front page
* Passport copy entry stamp (I entered with normal TR visa)
* Passport copy last stamp
* Print of the email received from my Embassy (IT) saying that they are not issuing and letter anymore
* 1 photo
It took me one hour because I didn't have the forms filled up, otherwise 40-45 min
When I left the queue was slightly making up but totally doable.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully extended their visa for 60 days at the Chiang Mai Immigration Office, highlighting the smooth process and assisting volunteers. Required documents included the TM7 form, a copy of the TM6, TM30, and passport pages, among others. The process took about an hour, largely due to not having forms filled out beforehand.
