Hey guys love the energy that everyone is giving and being very helpful, I do have a question so I’m coming from America to Bangkok in Early April what all do I need to do, I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos and all they say is just get a passport and reserve ASQ what else is needed if your looking to stay for 6 months ?
TLDR : Answer Summary
For a 6-month stay in Bangkok starting in April, you should first obtain a visa, specifically the Special Tourist Visa (STV), which allows for stays of up to 9 months. Booking accommodations through an Approved State Quarantine (ASQ) hotel is also essential. Additionally, ensure you have a valid passport and check the requirements on the Thai consulate's website for detailed instructions. It's advisable to prepare documents ahead of time, including extra passport photos, and consider getting an International Driving Permit if you plan on driving. Lastly, stay updated on travel regulations and have contingency plans for communication and finances.
