Good morning, I am a bit confused about the tm 30. My land lady registered me online. Do I have to do something? How can I get a receipt of notification? The immigration in samui send me away.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 registration process involves your landlady notifying immigration about your stay. You should ask her for a confirmation receipt, as the responsibility primarily falls on the house owner. If she registered you online, there may not be a physical receipt. Instead, she can take a screenshot of the registration confirmation after searching for your data in the system. If you travel back to your primary address, you do not need to re-register. Further information on the TM30 can be found on official immigration websites.

Any information about this having been relaxed in case I live in Bangkok and travel to another city, and then when coming back? Do I need to tell me landlord to register me again or not?

I've heard that this was relaxed in some parts of the country. Any specific info?

IF you are going back to your primary address (where a TM30 was previously filed for you) then you don't need to refile a new one for in country travel..

The online system has NO print receipt function. Have the person log IN to the system use the "search" function, put in the date they registered you (as the beginning and ending date of the search) call up your data and then to a screen capture and print it.

That is the ONLY way to get a TM30 receipt from the online system

After all,, it's the house owner who has that responsibilty, all you need to do is supply your passport number and country.

Now I asked at the immigration to check if she realy did it how she told me. They told me she did not. So I will try to do it online. Hope nobody has to pay a fine :/. (I live there 9 month already).

Thanks to all who have answered!

Many landlords just can't be bothered or don't understand their legal obligations.

Time to move, and find a landlord who understands their legal obligations! (Easy for me to say...)

We do it online too, and there is no print option. Once I was in the IO and there they asked me for an update coz I went abroad and they did it for free. No problem. I always make picture of the screen when we register.

You need a little slip from her that she did it , ( she gets that notification) and that one you take to immigration
