Now that my METV has been approved, is this what I bring with me to the airport and customs/immigration as far as the visa is concerned? Do I save this .pdf they emailed me and print it out? There is a QR code on it, I assume they will use that QR code? Or is there something else that I should print out or show proof for visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You should bring the PDF of your approved METV to the airport, print it out, and keep a copy with your passport. This document contains a QR code that will be scanned by immigration. It is advisable to save multiple copies and check your passport for the correct visa stamp upon entry into Thailand. Other users have successfully showed only the email version of their visa upon arrival, so having digital copies is also useful.

I showed the email to immigration upon arrival. No issues. Then got with an expensive visa agent who, along with his team, extended that 30 days, opened a bank account, and got a one year visa all in a one day visit for 15 months visas. Next they will help with an immigration certificate and Thai drivers license fast track.

That is your Visa. Save a copy to your phone and always have a printed copy in your passport.

Yes, that's your visa. Save it and print it out. Save it in case you lose your paper and can reprint it.

Then each time you enter Thailand hand them this paper plus your passport. Then immediately check your passport after you step away to make sure you got the correct 60 day stamp, and enjoy your time in Thailand.
