TLDR : Answer Summary
To present your Thailand Pass upon entering Thailand, it is generally advised to print out the complete document, including the QR code. While some travelers have indicated that displaying the QR code directly from a phone is acceptable, many emphasized the importance of having printed copies to avoid issues such as technical difficulties with devices.
scanning the QR code on paper or on phone take the same amount of time: a fraction of second. How do you know they were slower when everyone was at a different booth? Are you Hawkeye 😂
Why would you travel with a flat battery if you know you'll need your phone upon arrival? Almost all planes are equipped with charging sockets these days.
when we sat in the blue chairs, some nice staff came and helped us to prepare all 4 documents in our hand (including the phone with QR on screen), so no need to go through anything at the counter. Just go, show and pass.
yes I was cause their cue goes slow when they have to show phone! It didn’t take same time! 555. Also did you not read they ask you to “print it out”! 😂👍👍
Better print it just the same... Anyway we need hard copies of insurance, hotel reservation, RT-PCR result and vaccination certificate, so it doesn't make much difference
As I told you, Thailand pass on phone was that the majority of passengers had when I arrived last Monday, it was fine. That's the aim of a QR code by the way.
At Bangkok airport you need 4 documents to be ready:
yes but quicker if printed, don’t you know thais love paperwork?! 😂. I came a few days ago and those with only on the phone were a lot slower. Doesn’t matter much anyway cause have to wait for luggage probably! 😂
