To prove UK residence for a visa application, various documents can be used, including recent bank statements, UK driving licences, utility bills, council tax documents, and even parking fines. Some individuals also suggest providing flight tickets to demonstrate current residence in the UK. While a bank statement is generally adequate, additional documentation might be required to fully verify residence.
Not fully clear which requirement you are trying to cover here. Are you trying to prove that you are physically in the UK? If so, what others have said usually work. However, if you are trying to prove residence (only UK nationals and residents can apply via London), then I would assume you have a UK passport or if not a Uk national, some sort of “residence” visa that you would show for this requirement.
I submitted my bank statements but they still requested a document to prove I was in the UK. I sent a copy of my driving licence, but I don't really know how that proves I'm in the UK
I provided a copy of my confirmed flight ticket from UK to Thailand (which I think is one of the examples they provide). I worked on the assumption that they would think that I must be in the UK to make use of that ticket. This worked successfully for me, but I may have just been lucky
