What changes are being implemented for travelers from Iceland to Thailand starting May 1st regarding digital card requirements?
Greetings I heard they are making some changes starting 1st of may with some digital cards requirements for everyone. Even those with visa exemption and visa on arrival. Can someone elaborate and explain what I need to do when traveling from Iceland to Thailand?
Summary so far
There are expected changes starting May 1st involving digital card requirements for travelers to Thailand, including those holding visa exemptions and visas on arrival. However, details are unclear, and there is skepticism about the implementation, as past announcements regarding digital cards and entry systems have faced delays.

No one knows anything because nothing exists yet. Programs in Thailand rarely start when expected. The new digital entry card is already a replacement for the ETA which was originally announced and already put on indefinite hold. No one knows if or when the digital arrival card or the ETA will ever come into play.
