Hello, has anyone recently done an extension on a Non Immigrant O-A (retirement) at the Samui Immigration office? I'm looking for a list of what's required or a phone number to call so I can get that information.
We have to make the trip over from Phangan so I want to be prepared.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the requirements for extending a Non-Immigrant O-A (retirement) visa at the Samui Immigration office, seeking specific details or contact information. Community members provided general guidance on possible requirements, suggested contacting the local immigration office, and encouraged engaging with local groups for quicker responses. The user later updated their experience, confirming they successfully submitted their extension application and promised to share the specific requirements after receiving their updated passports.

I find it strange that the little renegade immigration office on Koh Phangan can't do retirement extensions ๐
Glad you stuck with it, got it done, and thanx for posting the requirements too (y)

Wanted to post an update for those interested.
Did our second trip to Samui today (we were missing some documents) and successfully submitted the extension. We now go back on the 28th to pick up our passports.
Once we have those newly stamped passports back in our hands I will post the current requirements.

I have placed the TOPICS about your OA extension questions on your post...
CLICK on them and all posts about your questions will pop up to read.
This is the general requirements list that most offices ask you to have. Still, there should be Samui specific list and might has Samui specific items.
Contact info is here.

Try to post to the group around Samui area. You would get the answers much faster. Or ask your friend in Samui (if you have) to get the latest handout from there.
, Please don't say it so easily if you don't know that area. In some parts of Thailand, there are some people who still need to make two days trip to just drop into the immigration office to get a handout.
