What are the translation requirements for documents submitted to BOI in Thailand?

I’m reviewing the BOI instructions and the phrase “* Note:

Must be in or a notarized translation into English or

Thai language only” confuses me.   Does this mean if it’s already in Thai or English then it’s fine.  And if it’s being translated from another language, then that translation needs to be notarized?  I just met with our corporate lawyer/notary and showed him the documents and he doesn’t know what to do.

Normally any document use with BOI for visa and work permit must be in English or Thai. If it is not, then translate and get it certified.
